Mindfully Engaging with Syllabi, Part II

Event Details

  • Date:

If you are CUNY faculty, join us for the second event of this series to learn insights from students and get a tool you can use with your classes. This mini-series, led by Niyati Mehta and Marta Cabral, is composed of two sessions (one with students and a second one with faculty) focused on meaningful syllabi and interdisciplinary transfer of learning: how to engage with syllabi as documents that help students succeed? How can synthesizing course information help students interconnect learning and apply it to each course and to their lives? In this conversation with faculty, we will share the insights received from students, provide faculty with the same course-organizer, and discuss tips and strategies to design meaningful syllabi.
